I like imeem because it makes it very easy to upload multiple tracks at once. It has a large assortment of music for listeners and nice features for artists. You can upload videos as well as audio tracks ... videos are almost always more popular! The sample above is an Emmylou Harris playlist you can put on any website or most social networking sites. (Emmylou signed on as my first "friend" at imeem.) A sample video playlist is at the bottom of the page.

PROS:
While many sites require certain-size artwork for album covers, imeem lets you resize an uploaded graphic very easily. You can assign genres, art, album title, artist, description and tags all at once for bulk uploads ... or you can select all tracks and edit them at once much the same way. Keep all tracks from each album together so you can "select all" for editing.

You create and/or embed playlists - both audio and video - either your own or those of other artists.

CONS:
Can't really find any yet.

RECOMMENDATIONS:
As with any similar artist upload site, get all your song information together at once BEFOREHAND. I like to put the text in something like NotePad and have it handy so I can quickly switch windows, copy, go back to the upload site and paste. This speeds things up considerably and gives your tracks consistent data across many sites.
