THE MUZIK-ZONE
A Look At The Online Music Outlets - MusicBuilder
Ease of use: - Features:

SoundClick is one of the worst online outlets I have ever seen. I ran across it when a local gospel singer approached us to act as her record label (even though we are not equipped to offer the complete range of services you should expect from a label). One of the sites she was on was MusicBuilder.com. With the "http://" in the URL it won't even load - you have to cut that out first. This is your first red warning flag.

It's a relatively new site start in April 2008 ... and it shows. Nothing works right. Avoid it like the plague, but keep an eye on it in case they bother to work out the bugs. The site seems to rely on ads for income, but has only one ad in its software section; the hardware section is empty.

PROS:
It looks nice.

CONS:
It doesn't work. Despite over a dozen attempts, I never  got their online player to work even once! The sites loads slow on both Internet Explorer and FireFox. The site contains a lot of time-outs, Visual Basic programming errors (the error codes show up on-screen) and CGI script errors. Over 90% of the time, clicking on a link to the artist's page resulted in a "404" (page not found) error. This shows very poor site maintenance.

The site has no Help or FAQ files, so there's no way to ask questions or seek help.

The site frequently hangs up and forces you to either restart your computer or shut down the browser program (double-click CTRL-ALT-DELETE in Vista). When it hangs up it won't let you go back to a previous page or switch tabs. A shutdown is your only option.

RECOMMENDATIONS:
Stay away from this one! It's bad - really bad! I never got a chance to try out its features. Its forum page even is non-existent. I'd be surprised to see this one still in business six months from now.
