Is Your Music Career Worth $1 a Day?
This offer is only open to the 1st 100 musicians to sign up! See why.

Chances are, you're too busy making music - after working a long day job - to adequately promote what you've already created. I am in an ideal position to do a lot of the legwork and organization for you because I work at home. My wife has had two strokes and severe rheumatoid arthritis; I am her 24/7 caregiver, meaning I need to be close by.

Let me introduce myself. My name is Jim Moore and I have had decades of experience in audio/video production, concert promotion, journalism and copywriting, award-winning website creation, graphic design and music (being a musician myself with seven albums produced now). I manage my own music production and promotion company, Phoenix Studios. I have also written two audio/video e-books on how to put music on your own web site and am preparing a third on Internet video.

My own musical interests include the use of "healing frequencies" (based on 45+ years' research into Extremely Low Frequencies, or ELF energy) and its use in New Age/Ambient music tracks to promote the body's own natural healing powers. This has been very helpful after my wife's two strokes and helped return her blood pressure to normal without large doses of drugs. This technique is being used more and more by other musicians - going back to Stevie Wonder.

I currently work with three bands/performers (tommie rose, Teri Garrison & The Bird Tribe) and an Indie publishing company (Tranzport Music). Location is no object because I work with clients from Nashville to Hawaii, both by phone and by Internet.

Here's what I can offer you in one complete one-stop package for less than $1 a day (annual contract required w/monthly payments - discounts for annual or 6-month payment):

  • a professional two-page website on our own Music-Zone site (free no-ads hosting!) with your own streaming jukebox and your own low-bandwidth online radio station, which keeps visitors on your site longer ... and a spam-free e-mail link (included).
    See a sample here.

  • Preparation of a professional press release for your local news media (included)

  • You, your album and/or video will be featured in our monthly "Hot Picks" sections. (included)

  • Collection and distribution of sales royalties from the above sites with your own online music store (included)

  • Access to a huge collection of free or low-cost music software (included)

  • Access to a comprehensive collection of music contracts for musicians, publishers and independent producers (included).

  • Access to our free classified ads section to advertise your gigs, your websites, MySpace or Facebook pages, albums, etc.

  • includes placement of your songs and/or music videos on major websites where you can present and/or sell your albums and/or individual songs (the following sites open in a new window; when you close it, this one remains)

  • monthly report of how often your music is played, sold and any income:

* Creative Commons licensing only, no commercial track listings.
** Individual arrangements must be made between the site and artists/publishers.
*** requires a $50 "set up fee" and has exclusive ringtone & wallpaper distribution rights (not highly recommended).
****requires a fee of $9.95 per month or $69.95/year. Free plan is available but w/o song/album sales. See details.

EXTRAS!

  • You can also get your own ad-free website with your own domain, at extra cost (domain name ($11.50/yr.), design (typically $300-$750) and hosting ($5.95/mo.).

  • CD album creation and mixing (extra fee - $25/hr.)

  • creation of audio CD covers, inserts and CD labels (extra fee - $25/hr.)

  • stunning music video production (extra fee - $40/hr.+)

  • consulting on what you need to know about protecting your music & your rights (extra fee - $15/hr.)

What Do I Need to Do?

  • You need to first be committed to your own musical success!

  • You need a free PayPal account so you can receive your payments.
I can help you set this up.

  • You need an e-mail address.
If you don't have one, I can set one up for you.

  • Your songs need to be sampled at 128 kb/sec at 44,100 sampling rate in MP3 format. I can resample them for you, if need be, for $3/song.

  • You need a minimum of four songs (for a playlist) and you must own the rights to them.

  • You need some publicity photos and a bio sheet.

  • There are other details you will provide when you sign up and have your consultation interview, such as song titles, performers, dates., album information, genrès, musical influences, upcoming gigs, licensing information if any, etc., etc.

Do I Still Retain Rights to My Music?

Absolutely! Some of the major websites do require certain non-exclusive rights to enable them to present your music to the public, but you have control over whether a song can be downloaded, how much you charge for it, and you retain all publishing rights. If you don't like their terms, you don't post your music to those sites.

You can earn up to 85% of the sales of your music (less our 10%) - far more than you'll make spending years trying to get signed to a major label!

I'll be creating a separate page for each of the online outlets listed above. That page will give you specific details, including contracts, for each site. Each site has its own requirements for album cover photos, MP3 upload requirements, video uploads, band info, etc.

All of your personal information is stored in our secure database. All you have to do is provide the information once. Then we consolidate it and copy-and-paste from the database to the appropriate online outlet's input boxes.

Do You Compete With Indie Publishers?

No way! I've carved out a very specific niche and that involves promotion and production only. I work with publishing companies, not against them. For example, I work with Tranzport Music, a small Nashville indie publisher. I know what I know and I know what I don't know.

I don't handle BMI/ASCAP stuff, setting up gigs, signing with record companies or any of the other vital services that publishers provide. I simply help you promote your music on CD and online where you can sell it to hundreds of millions of potential buyers.

So What Does It Cost?

Our packages start at $30/month (less than $1 a day!) plus 10% of the sales of your music downloads. Video production is extra, depending on your needs. It's much cheaper if you can provide us with raw video to work from.

Pay a six-month contract and get a 10% discount.
Pay a 12-month contract and get a 15% discount.

Is There a Catch?

Just one - because we are a music co-operative, your web page must contain links (which we set up) to the Music Stores of other clients we work for - everyone helps each other succeed!

How Do I Start?

Call me at 615-847-8222 or e-mail me.

But hurry! This offer is only open to the first 100 musicians who sign up. I can only handle so many and I won't overload myself and end up providing inferior-quality service ... and I really don't want to have to deal with the problems of hiring additional staff at this point.

UPDATE:

The young lady in the video below is, in a way, a competitor. I ran across her when she signed up as a fan at my Hub Page (within hours after I set it up - see the link above). While she is obviously selling her own video "Social Networking" package, she has some good advice in this video that every musician should heed - namely, 150 MILLION people a day visit the "social networking" sites ... and this is a market you should not ignore. Remember, your fan list is built one member at a time!
